Responsibilities
- Oversee the full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and variance reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Assist in the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Maintain and update fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Process payroll data and ensure accurate tax withholdings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or Microsoft Dynamics is essential.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and v-lookups.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
