Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely vendor and client payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with the preparation of year-end audits and tax filings, ensuring full compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Monitor budget performance and provide detailed variance analysis reports to management.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation preferred.
- Strong understanding of tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to present complex financial information clearly.
