Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure data accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings and local compliance reporting.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Maintain the general ledger and perform month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
