Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns (federal, state, and local)
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and inventory controls
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and implement audit adjustments
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and compliance procedures
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives for departmental clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate environment
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions
