Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and perform month-end and year-end close procedures accurately and timely.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure data integrity.
- Assist with external and internal audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are recorded and payments are made according to company policy.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
