Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting.
- Collaborate with the management team to prepare budget forecasts and financial reports.
- Process payroll calculations and ensure timely disbursement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in general accounting or a related role.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
