Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and examine monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filing with local and federal authorities.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Generate detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management.
- Maintain accurate general ledger systems and supporting documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus.
