Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations with high accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state income tax returns and financial audits.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) to track financial data and generate reports.
- Ensure all financial records are up-to-date and secure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software.
- CPA certification is a plus but not required for this immediate hire.
