Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate, complete, and timely.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to maintain data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax filings.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP.
- Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and budget analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (required).
- 2+ years of progressive accounting experience (required).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team setting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA Candidate status is highly preferred.
