Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, ledgers, and reports in compliance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Process payroll calculations and assist with employee benefits administration.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve budgeting and forecasting processes.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general ledger accounting or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
