Responsibilities
- Execute the month-end and year-end close procedures on weekends with precision and adherence to GAAP standards.
- Perform high-volume general ledger reconciliations and variance analysis for multiple accounts.
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings.
- Assist in the audit process by providing requested schedules and documentation during the interim period.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Utilize ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) to update financial data and maintain system integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience, with specific experience in weekend close processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software platforms.
- Strong understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
