Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with attention to detail and accuracy
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Assist with tax preparation and documentation for business clients
- Implement and maintain accounting systems using QuickBooks Online
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve client operations
- Conduct internal audits to ensure financial controls are effective
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
