Responsibilities
- Perform daily and monthly account reconciliations, including bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Process high-volume accounts payable and receivable transactions with strict accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and budgets.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, GAAP, and company policies.
- Prepare and maintain audit schedules and supporting documentation for external auditors.
- Manage fixed asset tracking and depreciation schedules.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 2+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a night shift or high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a self-directed night shift role.
