Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable and receivable processes during evening hours.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and post journal entries for the month-end close efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulations.
- Process payroll and expense reports for the night operations team.
- Utilize accounting software to maintain accurate financial records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in general accounting, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a quiet environment.
