We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing finance team in Mesa, AZ. Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and posted timely.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation requirements.
- Conduct internal audits and provide support to external auditors.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
