Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
- Process daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with high precision.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and annual audits.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) to streamline financial reporting.
- Provide financial recommendations to management to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
