Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and P&L.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards and internal company policies.
- Process payroll and assist with tax filings as required.
- Respond to vendor and client inquiries regarding account balances and transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 2+ years of professional experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
