What You Will Do
As our Accountant, you will be the backbone of our financial integrity. You will manage key financial operations, ensure compliance, and provide critical insights to the management team.
Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filing of all required documentation.
- Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies and improve financial processes.
- Process payroll functions accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants during fiscal year-end reviews.
- Maintain accurate financial records and support the month-end close process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in general accounting or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Familiarity with Daily Pay payroll systems and compliance regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
