Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns with a high degree of accuracy.
- Conduct thorough tax research to ensure compliance with the latest tax laws and regulations.
- Communicate complex tax concepts to clients in a clear and professional manner.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Coordinate with clients to gather necessary documentation and resolve discrepancies.
- Participate in year-round tax planning and client consultations.
- Support the tax department during audit preparation and responses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or EA preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in tax preparation (industry experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., Lacerte, ProSeries, UltraTax).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- U.S. work authorization required.
