Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll for all employees using ADP and Paychex software.
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, commissions, bonuses, and deductions.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local payroll tax returns (Form 941, W-2s).
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees in a timely and professional manner.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare month-end reports for management.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee financial data.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing.
- Proficiency in payroll software (ADP, Paychex, or QuickBooks Payroll).
- Strong knowledge of FLSA regulations and Texas state labor laws.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
