Responsibilities
- Process and post daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations to ensure all accounts are accurate and up-to-date.
- Manage payroll processing to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Handle tax preparation support and filing documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role (1+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet weekly payroll deadlines with high accuracy.
