Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks with precision and speed.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, including trial balances and financial statements.
- Payroll Support: Assist in processing payroll data and ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries regarding financial records.
- Data Entry: Maintain accurate digital and physical records of financial transactions.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience required.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is mandatory.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP and fundamental accounting principles.
- Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Computer: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is a plus.
