Responsibilities
- Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices and payments efficiently.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card balances on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Conduct monthly audits and ensure all internal controls are functioning properly.
- Prepare and file federal and state tax returns, including quarterly estimated tax payments.
- Collaborate with the management team to provide financial analysis and budget forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
