Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume account reconciliation and financial statement preparation for the weekend period.
- Manage general ledger entries and ensure all weekend transactions are accurately recorded in compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely reporting.
- Conduct internal audits and compliance checks to adhere to regulatory standards.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for senior management review.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to resolve discrepancies and optimize financial processes.
- Prepare tax documents and support external auditors during peak seasons.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays as required.
