Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processing including invoice verification, coding, and payment scheduling
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Implement and improve AP workflows using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience preferred)
- Coordinate with procurement and accounting teams for seamless financial operations
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX regulations
- Generate monthly AP reports for financial analysis
- Maintain organized digital and physical documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience in corporate environments
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- ERP system expertise (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAP) designation preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with high-volume payment processing (>500 invoices/month)
