Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
- Contribute to budget variance analysis and reporting
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/ERP) for data entry
- Adhere to GAAP and internal control procedures
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to pursue CPA/CMA certification (company-sponsored)
