Responsibilities
- Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments and compliance with financial policies
- Reconcile accounts payable sub-ledgers with general ledger accounts monthly
- Resolve payment discrepancies and vendor inquiries with exceptional customer service
- Optimize invoice processing workflows using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience preferred)
- Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting requirements
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to resolve payment bottlenecks
- Implement process improvements to enhance accounts payable efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 4 years of accounts payable experience in corporate environments
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP principles and financial compliance standards
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
