Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Assist in the daily reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Data Entry: Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with a high degree of precision.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior accountants and management to resolve discrepancies and provide insights.
- Document Management: Organize and maintain physical and digital financial records.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and maintain data integrity.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and client interaction.
- Organization: Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Software: Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) is a plus but not required.
