Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and financial statement preparation
- Support audit processes by gathering documentation and maintaining records
- Enter financial data into accounting software (QuickBooks proficiency a plus)
- Contribute to tax preparation under senior accountant guidance
- Monitor expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies
- Participate in process improvement initiatives for financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Willingness to pursue CPA certification long-term
