Responsibilities
- Execute weekend month-end closing procedures with 48-hour turnaround
- Reconcile complex multi-entity accounts and transaction logs
- Prepare and analyze variance reports for executive review
- Coordinate with weekend audit teams for compliance documentation
- Maintain SOX controls documentation and audit trails
- Implement process improvements for weekend financial workflows
- Support quarterly tax preparation activities during off-peak hours
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance with CPA/MBA preferred
- 3+ years public/private accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VBA/Power Query)
- Weekend shift availability (Sat-Sun 8AM-6PM)
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
