Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounting cycle, including month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial reports are accurate and submitted on time.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and inter-company account reconciliations to maintain data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support management in strategic planning.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations, ensuring compliance with internal controls and GAAP standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants during annual audits and tax filings.
- Utilize accounting software (SAP/NetSuite) to track financial data and generate necessary reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and accounting software.
- Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present it clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid work environment with minimal supervision.
