Responsibilities
- Perform Monthly & Weekly Reconciliations: Accurately reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) & Receivable (AR): Process invoices, verify expenses, and ensure timely payment to vendors while maintaining accurate client records.
- Weekly Close Process: Lead the weekend closing cycle, including posting journal entries, preparing trial balances, and generating financial reports.
- Banking & Cash Management: Prepare bank deposits, manage petty cash, and handle wire transfers securely.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax schedules for review by senior management.
- Client Support: Respond to client inquiries regarding account balances and transaction history during weekend hours.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, specifically within a professional services or corporate environment.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Pro and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) is mandatory.
- Weekend Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and error-free data entry.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
