Job Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance to ensure data accuracy.
- Process payroll and manage employee time sheets for the weekend workforce.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and tax preparation support.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role (minimum 2 years).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
