Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable processing during weekend shifts.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and post monthly financial reports, including trial balances and income statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation filings as needed.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures with strict adherence to deadlines.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar finance role (minimum 2 years).
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies quickly.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently with minimal supervision on weekends.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
