Responsibilities
- Process payroll for all employees accurately and on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
- Review time sheets and timesheets for errors, discrepancies, or missing information.
- Prepare payroll reports and reconcile financial data daily.
- Assist employees with payroll-related questions regarding pay stubs, deductions, and taxes.
- Maintain and update employee records in the payroll system.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations.
- Collaborate with the HR department to resolve payroll discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; a degree in Finance or Accounting is a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is highly preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn new payroll software and processes quickly.
