We are looking for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures on weekends.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and tax schedules.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Assist external auditors with requested documentation and schedules.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience (Weekend experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and Sage.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
