Role Overview:
In this pivotal role, you will manage the full cycle of accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial transactions. You will serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, resolving discrepancies and maintaining healthy business relationships.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, proper coding, and timely approval.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently.
- Manage accounts payable workflows to ensure payments are made within agreed terms.
- Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports and aging schedules.
- Communicate proactively with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all AP records.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
