Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to oversee the payroll operations for a diverse client base. The ideal candidate is a numbers-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values accuracy above all else.

Responsibilities

  • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for over 200 employees using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring 100% accuracy.
  • Prepare and file federal, state, and local payroll tax returns, including W-2s and 1099s, by strict deadlines.
  • Manage garnishments, child support orders, and deductions in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies efficiently and professionally.
  • Reconcile payroll bank accounts and prepare monthly journal entries for payroll expenses.
  • Collaborate with the HR department to update employee records, salary changes, and tax documentation.
  • Conduct audits of payroll data to identify and mitigate risks.

Qualifications
