Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and account reviews for weekend transactions.
- Process and post accounts payable and receivable invoices accurately.
- Assist with payroll processing for weekend operational staff.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical financial filing systems.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
- Support the month-end close process and generate basic financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage preferred).
- Strong knowledge of general ledger principles and reconciliation processes.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting is a plus.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
