Responsibilities
- Manage and process weekly accounts payable and receivable transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts for the weekend period.
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
- Assist in the preparation of weekly financial reports and variance analysis.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and digital filing systems.
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with GAAP.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and numbers.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines on weekends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
