Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and regulatory reporting to ensure compliance.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly to maintain accurate records.
- Prepare and present financial reports to management to support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records and fixed asset schedules.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal processes and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting, auditing, or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite).
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate status is a significant plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
