Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, and inter-company transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax filings, identifying opportunities for tax savings.
- Conduct internal audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain accurate budgets and forecasts to support strategic business planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to provide insightful financial data and recommendations.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely vendor payments and accurate revenue recognition.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree or CPA/CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or a related financial role.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a track record of accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder presentations.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
