Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closing and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for departmental and organizational initiatives
- Implement internal controls and process improvements to enhance financial efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial planning and analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing workflows
- Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Demonstrated experience with financial reporting, audits, and tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into strategic recommendations
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements and cost-saving measures
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial insights to non-finance stakeholders
