Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual federal and state tax filings.
- Perform variance analysis between actuals and budgets to provide insights to management.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including approval workflows.
- Maintain internal controls and audit trails to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and regulatory compliance standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
