Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and on time.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure all payroll records are up to date.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic financial records and documents.
- Communicate effectively with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and account status.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
