As an Entry Level Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our clients. You will work closely with senior staff to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements.
- Support the internal audit process and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in tax preparation and reporting requirements.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records in accounting software.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and account status.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be available to work full-time hours.
