As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining our financial health, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic insights to leadership. We pride ourselves on our modern work culture and our commitment to employee growth.
Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, perform account analysis, and resolve discrepancies to ensure data integrity.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and collections, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Compliance & Auditing: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting schedules.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and internal controls to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
- Payroll Support: Collaborate with the HR department to ensure payroll data is accurate and processed correctly.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. CPA certification is a significant plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, macros).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Integrity: Demonstrated high level of ethical standards and professional discretion.
