Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and post weekly journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to the general ledger.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports.
- Maintain and organize financial documentation, including invoices, receipts, and tax records.
- Process payroll processing for weekend shifts and ensure compliance with local regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
