Responsibilities
- Reconciliation: Perform weekly bank reconciliations and credit card statements to ensure all transactions are accounted for accurately.
- Accounts Management: Maintain and update general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reporting: Prepare monthly financial reports and balance sheets for review by senior management.
- Data Entry: Input financial data into accounting software with a high degree of precision and minimal errors.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with local and federal regulations.
- Invoicing: Process and send invoices to clients and follow up on outstanding payments.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience required.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage is essential.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Communication: Ability to communicate financial information clearly and concisely.
