Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring all documentation is complete and correct.
- Prepare basic financial reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
- Support the senior accounting team during monthly and annual audits.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly sales and use tax returns.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
- No prior professional experience required; we value potential and willingness to learn.
- Strong computer skills, specifically proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial terminology.
